The Liebherr Side-by-Side SBSes 8663 and the fridge-freezer combination CBNPes 5758 have been awarded the Red Dot Award 2017 for their high design quality. The award is a seal of quality for good design and innovation and a trademark that distinguishes and highlights the quality difference around the world. This year, the jury received submissions from a total of 54 countries. All participating products were evaluated individually by an independent and international jury over several days. The Red Dot Award: Product Design is more than ever one of the most renowned evaluation methods for good design and innovation.

The origins of the Red Dot Award date back to 1954. Today it is one of the largest and most prestigious design competitions worldwide. The official award ceremony will take place on 3 July 2017 at the Aalto Theater in Essen, Germany.
